Mitchell & Mr. Crow

Surrounded by the big city’s tapestry of ghettos and high-priced apartments, this particular stretch of Gardner street struggles to live with the mistakes of a hyperactive, neurotic self-taught wizard named Mitchell.

Mitchell’s luckiest day came in the form of an ancient leather-bound Book of Spells he found behind a wall in his apartment. With a little concentration, he found he was able to perform the spells in the book...more or less.

It’s pretty amazing that a 12 year old like Mitchell would have developed such skills, especially since his brain stopped developing right after the lizard part formed. With the ultimate means to fulfill his need for whatever feels good at the time, Mitchell always gets what he wants, and that’s (almost) always a bad idea. See, he's a little neurotic, and well, sometimes his deepest fears and insecurities manifest themselves every time he casts a spell.

Mitchell did nail it once though, and that was when he cast the spell that created his best friend, Mr. Crow. The result of the only spell Mitch ever got right, Mr. Crow is Mitchell’s uptight conscience. Always vocally reluctant to participate in Mitchell’s latest bad magic idea, Mr. Crow nevertheless ends up having to work on the down-low to save Mitchell from himself time and time again.
